Shangri-La, City of Dreams
City of mystery and wonder. Intrigue and wonder. Blue skies and wonder. WONDER I SAY!
Psionics are popular, and common is Shangri-La . They don’t appear to be common elsewhere that Shangri-La has traveled.
Shangri-La is made up of merchant houses, warehouses and guilds.
The ruling council for the Merchants is the most powerful.
There is also the guild council.
The faiths of Shangri-La don’t openly work together in a council, but they will occasionally hold a gathering.
The warehouse and dockworkers union is the second most powerful guild, some say the first. They have gone on strike before to get more money out of the merchants. They are rising in power and lately like flexing their power. They have control of the largest secured areas around Shangri-La , and store the long term goods, sometimes in stasis for decades, until they find a trading partner that finds the goods valuable enough to trade.
There is an independent captains association, for those not affiliated with the merchant guilds.
